Help Support The Katonah Museum of Art And Save The Environment

KATONAH, NY — The Mount Kisco Stop & Shop is giving shoppers the chance to support the Katonah Museum of Art and help save the environment at the same time.

Stop & Shop's community bag program will benefit the Katonah Museum of Art for the month of March. A portion of the proceeds from reusable bags sold at the Mount Kisco Stop & Shop store will be donated to the museum.

Every $2.50 reusable Community Bag sold supports a non-profit local to the store in which it was purchased. Each month, at every Stop & Shop location, a different local non-profit is selected to benefit from the sale of these special reusable Community Bags. Donations from the program started in 2019 have supported groups focused on education, civic, health/wellness, hunger relief and military/veteran organizations.

The Katonah Museum of Art was selected as the March beneficiary by the Mount Kisco Stop & Shop. The museum will receive a $1 donation for every $2.50 reusable community bag purchased at the store throughout the month.
