Holiday Sharing Drive Begins In Northern Westchester
This is the 37th year the Junior League of Northern Westchester has organized the drive.

BEDFORD, NY — For the 37th year, the Junior League of Northern Westchester is gearing up for its Holiday Sharing Drive. Organizers said they will be providing a happy holiday season to nearly 800 people in the community.
The league, which is comprised of about 150 women from Chappaqua, Bedford, Mount Kisco, Pleasantville, Katonah, Armonk, Pound Ridge, Yorktown and the surrounding area, is working with local agencies to make the holiday season brighter for families. Recipients of the drive include single-parent families, senior citizens, homeless families, physically challenged individuals, families suffering deep financial duress and those struggling with terminal illness.

The league has made it easier to participate by moving the process online to sponsor a family or an individual.
On the website, people have the option of sponsoring a small or medium-size family, sponsoring an individual or getting several individuals to sponsor a large family.

Monetary donations can be made and “big-ticket items” can be donated.
