Local DAR Chapter seeks Wreath Sponsors for Veterans’ Graves

Polly Cooper Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is seeking sponsors of wreaths to be placed on veterans’ graves at The Old Burial Grounds and Bedford Union located in Bedford, New York. More than 250 wreaths are needed to remember each veteran. Polly Cooper Chapter members will be on site at the cemeteries on Wreaths Across America Day to lay wreaths, say each Veterans name out loud, and remember the sacrifices of our Veterans and their families to protect our freedoms. The public is welcome to join the chapter with other volunteers on WAA Day (December 16, 2023).

Polly Cooper is a local NSDAR Chapter and our service projects support education and literacy, historic preservation, conservation, veterans and active-duty service members, genealogy research, naturalization ceremonies for new citizens, and more. Our members live throughout Northern Westchester County and beyond.
