Harvey vs. Forman
On 2/1 the boys’ varsity basketball team hosted league opponents, the Forman School. It was a hotly contested battle throughout. Harvey played an aggressive full court defense throughout most of the game.

The score was 37-30 at halftime, with Harvey holding the lead. Harvey held a lead throughout the second half and sealed the victory. The final score was Harvey 71, Forman 62.
Harvey was led by senior Aaron McBurnie and junior Julien Higgs. McBurnie had 27 points while Higgs chipped in with 23.
Harvey vs. Greens Farms
On 2/3 the Harvey boys’ varsity basketball team visited Greens Farms Academy. Harvey jumped out to an early lead but was soon overwhelmed by Greens Farms shooting and rebounding ability. Greens Farms led 39-14 at the half and never looked back.
Harvey fought to the end but was just overmatched in this contest. The final was 73-42. Harvey was led by Aaron McBurnie, who had a game high 25 points in a losing effort.

Harvey vs. Forman
On Wednesday, 2/1, the Harvey JV Boys’ Basketball team lost to Forman, 61-39. Although Harvey was down by 16 points at the end of the first half, the Cavaliers turned on the offense in the second half and outscored Forman 29 to 25. Leading Harvey in scoring was Austin Forman with 13 points. Others contributing on offense were Josh Gannt (6), Jake Berkowitz (4), Andrew Schwartz (4), Jabhari Taylor (4), Ben Alper (4), Harry Solomon (3), and Matt Lewis (1).
Harvey vs. Oakwood Friends
On Monday, February 6th, the Harvey JV Boys’ Basketball team defeated Oakwood Friends of Poughkeepsie 47-40. Austin Forman led Harvey in scoring with 11 points, including three 3-pointers. Other contributions on offense came from Andrew Schwartz with 9, Jake Berkson and Jabhari Taylor with 6 apiece, Ben Alper with 5, Harry Solomon with 4, and Sam Mackiewicz, Spencer Martone, and Tom Smith, all with two points each.
