Men Accused of Stealing $30K Worth of Hay from Dead Matriarch Plead Guilty

The murder of Lois Colley is still unsolved.

North Salem, NY — The two men who were accused of stealing more than $30,000 worth of hay from the estate of murdered North Salem resident Lois Colley pleaded guilty in Westchester County Court last week.

Details of the plea bargains for Angel H. Parra Penafiel and Hugo Ramirez-Morales, both 33 of North Salem, were not immediately available, according to tapinfo.net.

The two men were arrested January 3, 2016, and charged with felony third-degree grand larceny. Sentencing will be in December 2016.

Colley, 83, was bludgeoned to death in her home in November 2015.
