Parents, Teachers Protest Bedford Schools Budget Woes

BEDFORD, NY - With a looming budget gap of $9 million in the Bedford School District, parents and teachers protested possible staffing and program cuts on the streets of Mount Kisco Wednesday.

FIOS1News.com interviewed one teacher who said cutting faculty will mean class size goes up and the ability to effectively teach becomes difficult.

School officials have said the board and the public will likely have to vote to override the state-mandated tax cap for the next spending plan.
