Patrick Brennan to Run as an Independent for Bedford Town Supervisor

Brennan has lived in the community for nearly 15 years and has been a licensed New York State architect for more than 20 years.

Katonah resident and architect Patrick Brennan has announced his candidacy for Bedford Town Supervisor, running as an independent against incumbent Democrat Chris Burdick.

Brennan’s supporters are still garnering signatures for an official third-party bid, and they have until Aug. 15 to submit them, reports The Daily Voice.

Local Republicans have not put up a candidate for Town Supervisor and are not planning to, according to The Daily Voice and The Record-Review.

“I found myself inspired to run for Town Supervisor because I believe that Bedford is a great place to live and that the residents deserve better from our Town government,” Brennan wrote on his campaign website. He is running under a new party line called Go Bedford.

His platform includes the following:

Brennan and his wife, Cynthia, have three children.
