The Polly Cooper chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was proud to participate again this year in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Westchester, NY.

The National DAR Day of Service was implemented to honor the anniversary of DAR’s founding on October 11, 1890. Every chapter and individual members are encouraged to engage in meaningful service projects in their local communities each year on or around October 11.

The Polly Cooper chapter has chosen this service project for the past two years to promote awareness of and education for women's issues and to represent our chapter breast cancer survivors as well as family and friends of our members who have been effected by breast cancer.
