Pound Ridge Library Director Resigns Weeks Into Position

The previous library director was fired in Sept. 2016.

POUND RIDGE, NY — The Pound Ridge Library is once again looking for a new director. Daniel Sabol, who started in the $75,000-a-year position in mid-May, left work in early June and then resigned.

Though he left work saying he didn’t feel well, he later told the Journal News the resignation wasn’t medical-related. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)

Board President Miriam Schindel wouldn’t say anything other than the resignation was personal in nature.
