Rising Tuition Protested by SUNY Purchase Students
Signs and chants marked the noon-time rally on the Purchase campus.

SUNY Purchase students held a walkout Friday to protest rising tuition.
The students, some 60 in number, held signs and chanted at the entrance of the campus’ Student Services center, according to an article at lohud.com.
Tuition has gone up 30 percent since a plan to raise the cost $300 per year was implemented in 2011.
