Singer/songwriter and Katonah native Lisa Brigantino to perform at John Lewis Day
Katonah native and John Jay High School grad Lisa Brigantino returns to perform at Annual John Lewis Day Celebration.
Award-winning singer/songwriter and Katonah native Lisa Brigantino will be the final musical performer for the annual John Lewis Day celebration on October 3, 2015 at St. Paul’s Chapel in Vista, NY. The day’s events start with a parade at Noon. Lisa will perform at 5:30pm. John Lewis Day, which honors John Lewis - the founder of Lewisboro, NY - is free and open to the public.
Lisa Brigantino grew up on Lakeside Drive in Katonah, NY, attended John Jay High School and now calls Brooklyn, NY home. Lisa is an engaging performer whose eclectic approach to songwriting spanning groove, genre and topic garnered her 7th place on Indie-Music.com’s Top 25 Awards of 2012. A trained composer with a Master of Music in music composition and music theory from SUNY Fredonia, Lisa also composes music for TV, film, theater, dance and more.
Lisa’s latest full length CD “Wonder Wheel”, an eclectic mix of Folk, Rock, Blues, Americana, Old-Time and more, continues to receive international airplay and fantastic reviews, including a 5 star rating and “Pick Of The Week” from Indie Music Critic and Muzik Reviews as well as numerous other publications, blogs and ezines. In addition to her own performances, Lisa performs with her sister Lori Brigantino in “The Vickie & Nickie Show” a wacky musical-comedy act.
Lisa was an original member of Lez Zeppelin, the world’s first all-girl Led Zeppelin tribute band and toured internationally with the band for a number of years playing bass, bass pedals, mandolin and keyboards.
