Temple Shaaray Tefila To Hold Membership Barbecues
These are helpful for prospective members who are considering participating in the High Holy Day services and religious school.
BEDFORD CORNERS, NY — Temple Shaaray Tefila in Bedford Corners will be hosting a membership barbecue on Friday, July 7 and Friday, August 4. Open to everyone and free of charge, the barbecue is particularly helpful for prospective members who are considering participating in the Temple’s High Holy Day services and religious school in the coming year.
The evening begins with a Tot Shabbat at 6 p.m. appropriate for young children and their families. Hot dogs and hamburgers will begin coming off the grill at 6:30 p.m., and the rabbis and staff will be available to answer questions. The evening ends with our outdoor Shabbat service on the patio at 7:30 p.m., followed by an Oneg. The barbecue is rain or shine. Dress is casual.
The Temple invites everyone to join us and learn about our early childhood center and religious school, as well as the diverse programs we host throughout the year for all ages. The Temple has something for everyone.
