Harvey Girls Lose to King School
Harvey’s Girls’ Varsity Basketball team dropped a 54-28 decision Wednesday (Feb. 1) to King School of Stamford, CT. The Lady Cavaliers were down by only nine at the half, but King’s offense poured it on in the second half, outscoring Harvey by 17. The loss dropped Harvey’s record to 10-3. King improved to 12 and 6.

King’s Molly Goldstein led all scorers with 12. Gabi Paulhac with 11 points was top scorer for Harvey.

On 1/27, the Harvey girls’ varsity basketball team hosted league opponents the Forman School from Litchfield, CT. The Harvey offense was led by senior point guard Cece Nwokocha (14) and junior forward Gabi Paulhac (12).
Also scoring for Harvey were Rane Prieto, Brittany Sullivan, Ariana Weaver and Abby Hasset. Rane Prieto led the defense through her pressure defense, which led to numerous steals.

On 1/27, the Harvey boys’ varsity basketball team traveled to Tarrytown, NY to play EF International Academy. The Harvey offense was powered by junior point guard Julien Higgs and senior forward Aaron McBurnie.
