Fox Lane duo earns honor

Fox Lane hockey players Conor Bunyan and Blaze Vogliano were named Co-Players of the Week by the LoHud Hockey blog.

Bunyan, who has been stoning the opposition left and right this year in his goalie position, made 51 saves in a 7-2 setback to Rye Jan. 4, then stopped 42 shots in a 2-1 overtime triumph against Somers/North Salem.

Vogliano, a forward, scored a pair of breakaway goals in a 7-2 defeat to Rye, then tallied both goals in a 2-1 overtime win against Somers/North Salem Jan. 6.
