Harvey JV Hockey hosted the Brunswick School on Friday (Jan. 13) and suffered a disappointing 8 - 1 loss.
Harvey came out with guns blazing but too much enthusiasm and not enough hockey smarts led to defensive breakdowns in all three zones and the result was Harvey skaters chasing around the Brunswick team.

After closing the gap to 4 - 1, a fluke goal by Brunswick led to a loss of composure and the final onslaught.
The lone Harvey goal was scored by Freshman Tommy Gattuso off a nice face-off win by Sophomore Rory Knox. Freshman goalie Marcus Plummer shined again in nets despite the score making 31 saves.
Overall, a good learning experience for the young Cavs.
