Foxes prevail
Will Trawick's 23 points and seven rebounds led the boys basketball squad to a 58-52 triumph against Clarkstown South at Croton-Harmon in the first game of the Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Classic Jan. 27.

Trawick's performance earned him the game’s MVP for the the second straight year.

BJV Basketball
We thank the Harvey athletic department for the below submissions:
On Wednesday, 1/18, the Harvey JV Boys’ Basketball team defeated the French-American School 31-21. The Cavaliers led 15-8 at half-time and kept the lead throughout the second half to secure the victory.
This brings Harvey's record up to 3 wins, 9 losses for the season so far. Leading scorer was Harry Solomon with 9 points on three 3-pointers. Others scoring for the Cavaliers were Andrew Schwartz (7), Sam Mackiewicz (6), Matt Lewis (4), Tom Smith (2), Jabhari Taylor (2), and Andrew Bowers (1). Harvey's JV record improved to 3 wins, 9 losses for the season.
V. Hockey
On Friday, 1/20, the Harvey Varsity Hockey team travelled north to Kent, CT. After trailing 2-0 in the first period to the South Kent Varsity B, the Harvey Cavaliers staged a comeback as freshman goalie Robbie Massimi turned away 33 of 36 shots and seniors Ricky Schulman and Russell Pober scored to tie the game in the second period.
In the third period, South Kent went ahead 3-2 before two more Harvey seniors stepped up: Tim Ehlberg tied the game while Brett Marks scored the game winner with 5:44 remaining in the game. Massimi, behind the defensive unit of Brandon Hickey, Noah Vock, Brian Theiss, Nick Gattuso, Matt McMorrow, and Anthony Horner, closed the gates on several South Kent scoring chances to preserve the one goal lead for the Cavaliers.
