Bellmore-Merrick Students Named Hispanic Recognition Scholars

Three students named 2014-15 National Hispanic Recognition Scholars.

Three students in the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District were recently named 2014-15 National Hispanic Recognition Scholars after qualifying with multiple academic achievements.

The National Hispanic Recognition Program was established in 1983 to identify outstanding Hispanic/Latino students from a pool of more than 250,000 Hispanic juniors that scored high on the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. In addition, the students maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher to be designated as scholars.
