Grand Avenue Competes at Kellenberg Competition

Long Island’s best math students competed at Kellenberg Memorial High School in a contest sponsored by the Museum of Math & St. Martin de Porres Marianist School.

More than 150 outstanding middle school students from various schools throughout Long Island attended the competition. It was an exciting and academically challenging day for the Grand Avenue Middle School team, who tied for fifth place as well as having Kevin Ivers place fifth in the individual event competition.

The entire Grand Avenue team includes Ziyad Gawish, John Berry, Sidra Naheed, Kevin Ivers and Hunter Moran.
