Police: Coram Man Arrested After Leading Police on Chase From Jamesport to Southold
The incident occurred on Sunday.

A Coram man was arrested after leading police on a chase from Jamesport to Southold during a STOP DWI enforcement early Sunday morning, according to Riverhead Town Police and Southold Town Police.
Shortly after 3:30 a.m., the Riverhead Police Department attempted to stop Jovan Azon Bailey, 27, on Main Road in Jamesport, police said.
Bailey refused to stop and was pursued east into the Town of Southold by Manor Hill in Cutchogue, where the Southold Town Police became involved, police said.

The Southold Police Department deployed Stop Sticks on Route 25 and Peconic Lane, deflating three of his tires, police said.
Bailey was stopped a short distance later and arrested without incident, according to police.

During the arrest, he was found to be in possession of cocaine, police said.
Riverhead Police took custody of Bailey and impounded the car he was operating, according to police.
He was charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation, second degree unlawful fleeing of police officer, reckless driving and several other vehicle and traffic violations, according to police.
Bailey will face additional charges in the Town of Southold.
