Police Seeking Man who Vandalized Fire Department

The man allegedly damaged landscaping and a chief's car in the early morning hours.

A man was caught on video vandalizing a North Bellmore fire fighter's car last week.

According to detectives, an unknown white man, while in front of the North Bellmore Fire House located at 1500 Newbridge Rd., caused approximately $1,500 worth of damage to a department vehicle, along with landscaping bricks and flowers, on Friday, Aug. 12 at 4:15 a.m.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this crime to contact the First Precinct at 516-573-6156.
