Registration Open for Student Summer Enrichment Program
North Bellmore Educational Foundation offers classes for K-6.
Registration begins April 24 for this year's Summer Enrichment Program presented by the North Bellmore Educational Foundation. Students in the North Bellmore School District entering kindergarten through sixth grade in the fall are eligible to attend. Private and Parochial students are also welcome to participate. There are three one-week sessions, from July 13 through July 30, at Saw Mill Road School from 9 a.m. until noon.
The Summer Enrichment Program offers hands-on, engaging classes including digital photography and video, robotics, ceramics, sculpture, paper mache, tie dye t-shirts, jewelry making, printmaking, board games, dodgeball, frisbee, team handball, basketball, soccer, cooking and dance. Students can take three classes each day or you can create your own schedule with as many weeks or classes as you like.
Back by popular demand is the Kindergarten Enrichment Program for students entering kindergarten. Last year, kids enjoyed group games and crafts as well as classes such as karate and foods.
