Sterling Elementary School, Pineville, NC receives the “James Clare Memorial Award"

Our son, James Stewart Clare, was just 16 years old when he died in 2009. He was a generous young man.

In keeping his memory alive, we donated to a fund for the purpose of purchasing supplies needed by students of Sterling Elementary School, Pineville, NC. The school children are in need of supplies, due to the fact that parents in that district are not as wealthy as they are in the Town of Hempstead & Bellmore Merrick. James’s first cousin’s wife works at this school. The Clare Family of Long Island was honored to be able to provide this award to help students reach their potential with an unexpected helping hand through my son’s gift to them.
