The Club House Marina was created in 1900 and was one of the first marinas in Bellmore. Located at 136 Clubhouse Road, the building itself is 1,000 square feet and has a lot size of 27,000 square feet. It rests inside a little nook, but offers a lot of space. With over 100 spots for winter storage, the Club House Marina takes care of your off-season needs as well. Last year, they did renovations and added bathrooms, gas pumps and improved the parking area.
The marina has up to 70' wet slips with finger docks as well as a gas dock. With access to the East Bay, it's in a great location. The Gulf sign (see photo) on the marina office building is plastic and embossed with letters. It looks like the signs that were used in the 1970s. These days, they can sell for up to $500.
The hanging clock was another item that got my attention. This adds a style and vintage appeal to the place. It's always nice to see features you don't expect to see. The clock and the Gulf sign were nice surprises.

It was quiet and peaceful by the docks. There is something about sitting off a dock with your feet in the water and hearing the birds sing.
