• Man arrested on felony charges in Big Flats (newportdispatch.com) — Residents in Big Flats may want to know that a 30-year-old Elmira man has been charged with multiple felonies after catalytic converters were reportedly stolen from vehicles at local businesses. Chemung County deputies tied two complaints to the same incident, and the suspect was later arrested in Elmira and remanded to the county jail after arraignment in Big Flats Town Court.
