1 Person Injured After Central Islip Home Goes Ablaze: PD

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — One person was injured on Wednesday morning, after a house went ablaze in Central Islip, Suffolk County police said.

At about 10:50 a.m., a fire ignited at a Tamarack St. residence. One person was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries, police said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
