4 Arrested In Bronxville For 2 Separate Forged Checks
Police said the checks were in the amounts of $9,800 and $13,963.20.

BRONXVILLE, NY — Bronxville Police apprehended four people on the same day for two separate instances of trying to withdraw money from the same bank using fraudulent checks. Around 2:10 p.m April 13, police arrested Chaz Broadnax, 26, and Andrew Barrington, 29, both of the Bronx.
A manager at Park Place Trustco Bank said Barrington was attempting to complete a fraudulent transaction.
Police said a search led to the discovery of a forged check in the amount of $13,963.20.

The two men were charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, felonies.
Broadnax and Barrington were arraigned and sent to the Westchester County Jail after neither was able to post $10,000 bail.

Later, at 3:08 p.m. April 13, Bronxville Police arrested Taylor Williams, 29, and Antoinette Williams, 29, both of the Bronx.

After a report April 12 of fraudulent activity at the same Bronxville Trustco Bank branch, police used village surveillance cameras to identify the pair and their get-away vehicle, including the license plate number.
Police detectives and officers set up surveillance on the bank and took Antoinette Williams into custody after she allegedly withdrew $9,800 from the fraudulent account and attempted to flee using the same get-away vehicle.
Taylor Williams, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was found to have an open fugitive from justice warrant from Pittsburgh, PA.
Antoinette Williams was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and third-degree grand larceny, felonies.
Taylor Williams was charged with two counts of third-degree grand larceny, felonies.
They were arraigned and sent to the Westchester County Jail after failing to post bail: Taylor Williams in the amount of $10,000; Antoinette Williams, $5,000.
