Update: Bronx River Parkway Reopened in Yonkers Tuesday

Updated at 5:22 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015: The Bronx River Parkway northbound in Yonkers has been reopened after an accident shut it down. Delays may still exist in the area.
Original story: An accident Tuesday afternoon temporarily shut down the Bronx River Parkway northbound in Yonkers, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred north of exit 10A (Yonkers Avenue) at about 3:45 p.m. Details were not immediately available.

Officials said northbound lanes would be closed for about four hours during the investigation.
