After No Tenure in Mamaroneck, Beloved English Teacher Heads to BHS

The MHS teacher who was denied tenure this year just announced that she has been hired elsewhere.

Jennifer Rosenzweig, the beloved Mamaroneck High School teacher who was denied tenure this year, announced that she has been hired as an English teacher at Bronxville High School. The news came yesterday in the shape of a Facebook post on a support page that hundreds of students and supporters created in an attempt to keep her in the district.

Rosenzweig also thanked the students for their support and said she would be proud to see them at graduation, which took place yesterday.

Her two posts are below.

To my students who are graduating today, I'm so proud of you and I will see you at the ceremony in a couple of hours! I, like you, am sad to be leaving MHS, but I know that as we all move forward on our separate paths, the love and kindness we have for each other will continue to connect us for years and years to come....

All the best,

Jennifer Rosenzweig
