The Bronxville Pug Walk will host its annual Halloween Pug Parade, this Sunday, October 26th, at 10:30AM.  Gather at Starbucks on Park Place.  All breeds of dogs, and their families, are welcome to participate.  Costumes are encouraged but not required.  See you there!

Both of these composers approached the string quartet form with reverence and some intimidation, with the examples of Haydn and Beethoven looming over them. Brahms is said to have thrown over 20 string quartets into the fireplace before settling on this “No. 1,” and Prokofiev composed his “2nd” while an evacuee from Moscow as Nazi air raids bombarded the city.
