Bronxville High School Junior Caroline Schetlick Named to All-Eastern Mixed Chorus
Caroline Schetlick, an 11th-grader at Bronxville High School, will perform as part of the All-Eastern Mixed Chorus in Rhode Island in April.

Bronxville junior Caroline Schetlick has been named to the 2015 All-Eastern Mixed Chorus, one of five All-Eastern Honors Ensembles to perform at the National Association for Music Education’s Eastern Division Conference, which will be held in Rhode Island April 11 and 12.
Schetlick is one of 25 students from New York State to perform in the ensemble.
As an alto, Schetlick sings with the Bronxville High School Chorus and the school’s select chorale. She is a 12-year member of the choir program at the Reformed Church of Bronxville. A veteran of nine Bronxville School Drama Department productions, she recently appeared in the high school’s spring musical, Sweeney Todd.

She sang in the 2014 All-State Mixed Choir, in the 2013 and 2014 Area All-State ensembles and at the 2014 Organization of American Kodály Educators (OAKE) Conference.
Schetlick studies piano, conducting, and musicianship at the Hoff-Barthelson Music School in Scarsdale. Pamela Simpson, director of the Bronxville High School Chorus, is helping her prepare for the All-Eastern performance. She plans to pursue her music studies in college, with a focus on choral music and conducting.
