Bronxville Police Blotter: DWI Charge
A look at some of the incidents investigated by the Bronxville Police Department.

Dec. 24:
1:28 a.m. A 43-year-old Yonkers resident was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, police said. According to police, his car was stopped for passing a red light on Midland Avenue at Kraft Avenue. When brought to headquarters, Powell didn’t consent to a chemical test to determine blood alcohol content, police said. As a result of the refusal, he faces an administrative hearing at the DMV, police said. According to police, he was also given a summons for passing the red light. He appeared in court on Jan. 5.

Dec. 31:
1:35 p.m. A Greenfield Avenue resident reported that items were missing from his Chrysler, which was parked in his driveway, police said. According to police, the incident occurred sometime between 9:15 p.m. on Dec. 30 and 9:15 a.m. on Dec. 31. A bottle of scotch worth $70, a Hess truck worth $30 and an iPod worth $800 were taken from the car, police said.
