The Bronxville Road Race for the Children's Brain Tumor Project Set for Sept. 13
According to organizers, all proceeds from the event will benefit pediatric brain tumor research at Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center.

The Bronxville Road Race for the Children’s Brain Tumor Project, a new charity road race, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13, at The Bronxville School, 177 Pondfield Road.
According to organizers, all proceeds from the event will benefit pediatric brain tumor research at Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
“The Children’s Brain Tumor Project focuses on the research and treatment of rare and inoperable brain tumors that affect children and young adults,” according to information posted on the NYC Runs website. “The CBTP was founded, in part, with the generous support of Elizabeth Minter (Bronxville High School Class of 2009) and her family, longtime residents of Bronxville. Elizabeth was diagnosed with gliomatosis cerebri in 2010 and lost her battle with the disease in 2012.”
