Burst Sprinkler Pipe Temporarily Shuts Down Children's Section at Greenburgh Library

The room sustained some water damage.

A pipe burst in the children’s section of the Greenburgh Public Library Friday, requiring the facility to temporarily close down that room, according to officials.

The room sustained some water damage, so exactly when the section will re-open was not yet known. Officials said it could be closed until Tuesday, Jan. 13.

In the meantime, the library’s teen section remains open, as does the rest of the library.
