2011 NEAR & FAR AID DESIGNER HOUSE TOUR“CELEBRATING THE ART OF LIVING”

 FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Continuing a rich tradition of its celebrated house tour, long-time philanthropic organization Near & Far Aid proudly announces the 2011 House Tour, featuring an exclusive tour of five extraordinary homes in the prominent enclaves of Westport, Greenfield Hill, and Southport, Connecticut, each professionally decorated by nationally renowned interior designers.

The 2011 Near & Far House Tour: "Celebrating the Art of Living,” offers patrons an extraordinary opportunity inside many of the most prominent properties in Fairfield County, where each moment of life, the important occasions, and the simple, every day events are surrounded by imagination, beauty, style and vision.

Proceeds from the house tour and all related Near & Far Aid fundraising events support over 100 agencies in Fairfield County.

Friday, April 29, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. House Tour Tickets: $60 in advance; $75 day of tour.

DESIGNER POWER BREAKFAST -Friday, April 29 from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Tickets: $65

A pre-tour breakfast at the newly redesigned Patterson Club, featuring a presentation by renowned designer Jamie Drake, whose dynamic, distinctive, and livable interiors have received worldwide acclaim, will take place the morning of the house tour. 


TOAST THE TOUR –Friday, April 29th, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tickets: $100 “Friends”, $150 “Supporters”, $200 “Leaders”

Near & Far Aid will host its signature "Toast the Tour" reception on April 29th at an elegant waterfront estate with a breathtaking backdrop of Long Island Sound.
