An earily good time for adults in the Adventure Garden at New York Boatanical Garden featuring complimentary beer, food, and live music.
Indulge yourself with artisanal beers and sample insect delicacies such as crunchy mealworms in a variety of flavors, cricket flour bread with honey, insect-embedded cookies, green papaya salad with water bugs, and big butt ant brittle.
Complimentary beer selection will include Sam Adams Octoberfest, Blue Moon Harvest Moon Pumpkin Ale, and Spaten Oktoberfest, courtesy of Manhattan Distributors.
For the less daring, there will be more conventional food options available, including sandwiches and cheese plates. Soda and water will be available for purchase.
The evening's live music will feature The Ukaladies who will perform cowboy love songs, Ruth Wallis medleys, favorites from the 30s and 40s, and many of their original tunes.
