A member of the writing faculty of Sarah Lawrence
College since 1990,
Schnur will
conduct a writing workshop and read from his book, Firstborn, which, on the eve of his daughter's wedding,
chronicles the first twenty-six years of his firstborn's life and his own
journey from incipient father to father-of-the-bride.
Schnur, has devoted the last thirty years
of his life to writing for adults and children. He has written for magazines and The New York Times and his other books
include The Shadow Children, The Koufax Dilemma, and Days of Awe.
