Friends of the Bronxville Public Library Author Series hosts Mindy Greenstein, Ph.D.

Dr. Greenstin
will discuss her recent book, The House on Crash Corner, about the traumas the
befall us, how we cannot escape them, but how we can meet them head-on.
 This book is a collection of true stories that will uplift the human
heart. It was one of Oprah's "10 Titles To Pick Up" in May 2011.

A clinical psychologist
specializing in the issues facing cancer patients, Dr, Greenstein also is a
writer, mother and fellow cancer patient. She was formerly the chief
clinical fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at Memorial Sloan-Kettering
Cancer Center.

She has authored professional papers, and written personal essays
for The New York Times, Washington
Post, Los Angeles
Times and other publications.
