For the second year in a row, the Westchester Italian Film Festival will be featuring contemporary Italian films in collaboration with the Miami Italian Film Festival.
The last selection of the film festival is 18 Years Later by Edoardo Leo. From the Westchester Italian Film Festival: "Mirko and Genziano are two brothers in their mid-thirties who have not seen nor spoken to each other since the day their mother tragically died in a car accident. Genziano now lives in London where he is a successful, workaholic, stock broker. Mirko has remained in Rome where he lives and works with their father and is married and has a 4 year-old boy. Life changes abruptly when their father dies. In his will, the father asks both sons to take his ashes to the mother's grave. He wants them to do it in the Morgan he spent his life restoring, the car which was wrecked in the accident that killed their mother. The two reluctantly take the trip across southern Italy which turns out to be full of adventure and discovery. A bittersweet comedy about guilt, family relations, and settling accounts. "
In Italian with English subtitles. There will be a coffee reception beginning at 4:30 pm.
