Additionally, the National Weather Service has issued new flood warnings for Westchester, Rockland and Bronx counties.

Flooding has shut down the Hutchinson River Parkway southbound in New Rochelle, according to the state Department of Transportation, as the Hudson Valley continues to grapple with Tuesday’s nor’easter nicknamed Storm Damon.

The thruway closure runs from Exit 15 (Cross County Parkway) to Exit 8 (Sandford Boulevard), and will be closed for several hours, or well into the night, officials said.

Additionally, the Exit 9 ramp southbound on the Hutch also is closed due to flooding, and again will be closed well into the night.
