Ignored Elections
Local Fire Commissioner elections Dec. 9: All elections no matter how small do have meaning and will effect lives
Bronxville-Eastchester and Tuckahoe are about to elect Fire Commissioners on December 9th. Most pay little attention to this election and will stay home because the feeling it has no meaning. This year it does have much meaning because they have a chance to elect someone who will truly represent the people and not just be one of the good old boys. The good old boys have endorsed who they would like. Usually someone who will go along with the statuesque. Anthony Lore is not their man, he is the peoples man. Anthony just took over as Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars on very short notice and has stepped up to the plate in fine fashion. He knows more and cares more about the community than anyone we know. There just could not be a better man for the job of Fire Commissioner. Don’t stay home on Tuesday night make your vote count.
