NY State Police, U.S. Marines Collect 'Toys for Tots'
Between now and Dec. 10, people can drop off new, unwrapped toys at the troop's Poughkeepsie location, 2541 Route 44 in Salt Point.

Troop K of the New York State Police is joining forces with the United States Marine Corps to collect donated children’s toys as part of the national Toys for Tots program this holiday season.
Between now and Dec. 10, people can drop off new, unwrapped toys at the troop’s Poughkeepsie location, 2541 Route 44 in Salt Point. Representatives of the Marine Corps will pick up the toys on Dec. 12 for distribution to area children.
All 18 state police stations in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Columbia counties in New York are participating in the initiative.

The New York State Police from Troop K will be joining forces with the United States Marine Corps to make this holiday season enjoyable for less fortunate children in our community.
Troop K is currently collecting new, unwrapped toys at all 18 stations throughout Columbia, Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester Counties. The drive will conclude on December 10th, 2014.
On December 12, 2014, the U.S. Marine Corps will be at Troop K Headquarters to collect the donated toys and distribute them to local children so they too can experience the joy of Christmas.
