PEACE OUTside Campus, The Lindsey M. Bonistall Foundation Event Set for October

PEACE OUTside Campus, The Lindsey M. Bonistall Foundation is thrilled to announce the 10th Annual 5K Lindsey Run/Walk to be held at Purchase College, SUNY in Purchase, NY on Sunday October 26, 2014.

The 10th Annual 5K Lindsey Run/Walk starts at 8:15 am. Register in advance at www.lindseyrun.com to get the early bird rate and an event T shirt.

The 5K course is USATF certified and features electronic timing, a water station and guides positioned throughout to assist participants. Awards and prizes are given to the first three overall male and female finishers and for each age division.

Kathleen Bonistall, Founder and Vice Chair, states “As we begin our tenth year advocating student safety, this run, our premier community awareness event, promises to be a fun filled day for all participants. The event celebrates what our foundation has been committed to for the past ten years: improving personal safety for college students. We continue with our commitment to empower students and their families to be proactive in safeguarding themselves against crime. Proceeds from this event go directly to fund our programs for students.”

In addition to the 5K run/walk, participants enjoy a pre-run/walk warmup, hot, buffet breakfast, massages, music, raffle and silent auction.
