Police: Two Suspects Arrested in Connection with Greenburgh Shooting

A White Plains man and a Yonkers man have been charged. No injuries were reported in the Tuesday afternoon incident.

A Yonkers resident and a White Plains resident were arrested by Greenburgh police Thursday in connection with a shooting incident in north Elmsford, according to authorities.

No injuries were reported in shooting, in which the suspects fired about a half-dozen shots at a group of people outside of a house on Winthrop Avenue.

Arrested were Richard B. Roper Jr., 26, of White Plains, and Dean O. Shand, 28, of Yonkers, on felony charges of reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and others, reports The Journal News.
