Report: Former Village Launderette Worker Files Lawsuit Seeking Overtime Payments

Eastchester resident Reina Isabel Caprile worked at the business from 1997 to 2014.

Reina Isabel Caprile, a 17-year employee of Village Launderette in Eastchester, recently filed a federal complaint against the business for not paying her all the overtime she claims she is owed, according to The Journal News.

In her complaint, filed in federal court in White Plains earlier this month, Caprile argues she averaged working 66 hours a week, instead of the customary 40 hours, and she had her pay unfairly docked for the cost of damaged equipment.
