Road Paving Funds for Bronxville, Eastchester, Tuckahoe
State lawmakers announced money for roads in Eastchester.

BRONXVILLE, NY — This year’s transportation funding for community roads and bridges includes more than $8.4 million for the 16 cities, towns and villages in the 37th Senate district. Bronxville will receive more than $155,000; Eastchester, more than $166,000; Tuckahoe, more than $100,000.
“More than $8.4 million will be coming to our communities this year, to repair and replace our old local highway and community street infrastructure,” Senator George Latimer, D-Rye, said. “These additional funds are crucial for our communities, as they help make our roads safe and usable. For many of our communities, these additional funds will fill the gap in their ability to fill the potholes.”
The money will come from three sources:

“During the Spring budget negotiations, I fought for increased State financial support for our local governments to help them repair our town highways and bridges,” said Assemblyman David Buchwald, D-Bedford. “These infrastructure aid increases will help fast-track much needed upgrades and repairs making our Town roadways safer for the hardworking families and businesses that use them every day.”
