Tuckahoe Man, 30, Arrested on Charge of Aggravated DWI

The incident occurred on the Taconic State Parkway.

Tuckahoe resident Gregory S. Slater, 30, was arrested Tuesday on a misdemeanor charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated, according to New York State Police.

Slater was driving on the Taconic State Parkway when troopers spotted him “failing to maintain” his lane. ”While Interviewing Slater, he exhibited clues that indicated he was intoxicated at the time of the stop,” said state police in a press release about the case.

Troopers tested Slater’s Blood Alcohol Content, which they said registered .18 percent, “more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.”
