Westchester County Snow Totals Saturday, Jan. 24

As the storm winds down, the National Weather Service predicts a light wintry mix this morning in the lower Hudson Valley will transition to a band of snow moving west to east this afternoon into evening.

Here are the latest snowfall amounts from the NWS.

The following are unofficial observations taken during the past six hours for the storm that has been affecting our region. Appreciation is extended to highway departments, cooperative observers, SKYWARN spotters and media for these reports.

Putnam County

• MAHOPAC 7.0 inches, at 9:09 AM
• BREWSTER 6.3 inches, at 7:00 AM
• COLD SPRING 5.8 inches, at 6:45 AM

Rockland County

• AIRMONT 7.4 inches, at 7:50 AM
• NEW CITY 7.3 inches, at 7:45 AM
• VALLEY COTTAGE 7.2 inches, at 7:00 AM

Westchester County

• PEEKSKILL 7.0 inches at 8:00 AM
• MOUNT KISCO 6.5 inches at 7:00 AM
• ARMONK 6.2 inches at 5:55 AM
• EAST WHITE PLAINS 6.0 inches at 6:30 AM
• SHRUB OAK 6.0 inches at 9:19 AM
• SOMERS 5.5 inches at 8:43 AM
• YONKERS 3.5 inches at 8:00 AM
