CONEY ISLAND, BROOKLYN, NY - Four people were shot in Coney Island Sunday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
The shooting at the intersection of W 15th street and Mermaid Avenue was reported around 2:55 p.m. Two of the victims were taken to Lutheran Medical Center and two of the victims walked in to Coney Island Hospital, police said.

Their injuries were not described as life-threatening.
