Last night, MasterChef premiered its 12th season, MasterChef: Back to Win. Brooklyn-based chef and Season 10 contestant Wuta Onda was one of the first to be announced as an All-Star and was given the opportunity to earn another white apron and a chance at redemption in the MasterChef kitchen.

Sadly, despite his best efforts, Wuta did not make it to the top 20.

Fellow Brooklyn-based chef Shelly Flash, who competed in Season 6 of the FOX show, will be auditioning for her chance in an upcoming episode.
