Don't Miss Park Slope PS39's Community Spring Carnival June 11th (12-5pm)

Annual Spring Carnival Offers Bouncy Houses, Games, Live Music, Crafts and Art Auction - Paintings Now on Display at Colson Pattisserie

A favorite event for Park Slope families for the past five years has been the annual PS39 Spring Carnival. Slated this year for Saturday, June 11th from noon to 5pm, the carnival will take over the yard surrounding PS39's lovely Victorian schoolhouse located on the corner of 6th Avenue and 8th Street. Families can enjoy a relaxing afternoon bustling with carnival games, bouncy houses, and food stations. Local musicians volunteer to entertain, and 8th Street between 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue is blocked off for folks to sit at tables eating and enjoying watching kids run around together.

Now you can also catch the PS39 Spring Carnival Art Auction on display at Colson Patisserie up until the day of the carnival. Local painters and designers generously volunteered to transform square wood boards into carnival-themed art all to benefit a great community school. Visit Colson Patisserie to see and bid on this year's entries. Bid will continue right up to the day of the carnival, and all proceeds go to the PS39 PTA.

Join the fun on June 11th for great food, games, crafts, bounce houses, live music, prizes and much more! Come have a blast with your kids and support a great public school in the process. For more information visit www.ps39.org.
